creating culture part 2.

In last week's blog, we talked about creating a culture. And how YOU can make the difference in your group, church, business, or ministry. So if we want our GROUP to have a healthy culture, then we must have a healthy culture in our life.

So how can we do this? What can we do to establish a healthy spiritual culture in our lives? Here are three things you can practice in your own life that I believe will set the pace to build a healthy, spirit lead culture in your personal life.

Number 1, we should develop a culture of prayer. We read in scripture that Jesus often withdrew himself from what He was doing to go pray. Jesus had a consistent and healthy prayer life. If HE would often pray, how much more should we? How arrogant of a Christian are we if we think we do not need to pray. Prayer is where we hear the voice of God, get to know His heart, and learn to do His will. Prayer brings clarity into our spirits. Prayer is a weapon that we have against the attacks of the enemy. If we want a healthy culture, it starts with prayer.

Number 2, we should develop a culture of speaking life. Just because you are going through something rough doesn't mean you need to talk badly about it. We need to shift the way we talk about our lives and situations. If your marriage is not doing well, then change the way you talk about your spouse. If you don't like your working or financial situation, then change how you speak about them. We must talk about our lives in FAITH, and we must speak LIFE.

Number 3, we should develop a culture of listening to and obeying the Word of God. So this means we must READ the Word and DO what it says. The bible is not a book that we read to manipulate it to say what we want it to say. We don't change scripture; it changes us! Too many Christians are going off experience and no solid foundation of the Word of God. This is a must!

I believe that if we establish these three things, we will cultivate a healthy spiritual culture.
