don’t stay stuck!

Have you ever gone through a dry season? Maybe, you're even in one right now. We all go through different seasons and moments in our lives. It could be moments of great success or even moments of great mistakes. Either way, seasons are natural in everyone's life. One of the most important things is not allowing yourself to be stuck in or defined by your season.

I personally have been going through a rough patch. A "dry Season." A time where I just feel spiritually dry. As I was praying about this, not really knowing why I felt this way. I felt the Lord speak to me. He said, "Don't let this season define who you are." It was something I didn't even know I needed to hear.

After being encouraged by the Lord, I was hoping that I would immediately lift out of my dryness and feel refreshed. But I didn't. I still felt the same, but I had a new perspective.

Just because I was going through, this doesn't mean this is who I am. This is important because if we define ourselves by the season we are in, we will remain in that season way too long.

We cannot stay stuck in our season; we need to continue to move forward. We cannot define ourselves by our seasons; we are determined by the Lord.

If you are stuck in a season, I encourage you, keep moving. Your mistakes, your dry seasons, your failures don't define you. You are determined by the one who created you. You are defined by God.

Don't get stuck. Keep it moving!
